Dealing with the aftermath of a suicide attempt is never easy.. for the family or the hospital staff. The National Alliance on Mental Illness (www.nami.org) in partnership with the Suicide Prevention Resource Center (www.sprc.org) under a grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, US Department of Health and Human Services have created two brochures to help families and healthcare providers cope with the aftermath of a suicide attempt.
